School Started in The BToS

I know, I know, school starts everywhere this time of year. Yes it does, but I happen to live across the street from a private school facility that is operated by really great folks. During the summer, it's like a vacation spa around here with normal traffic. But, when school begins the whole world goes crazy from about 8AM until about eight-thirty-five. Then it tapers off and you think you're back in summer mode with normal traffic. About two-fifteen in the afternoon, parents, grandparents, guardians and others begin to show up to pick up children that were dropped off that morning. Things are a bit crazy from two-thirty until almost three o'clock. Then it's just normal rush hour traffic after that.

And it's not just me that experiences the traffic, it's most of the BToS. There are only three ways to get into town and none are simple; exiting is similar. Yessir, the BToS main drags are busy, busy during the 'school rush hour'.

Oh, did I mention that there are also Howard County Elementary and Middle schools approximately a half mile up the road. The fotos below are at 7AM, 8AM and 3PM. I missed the 8:25 hot spot. :-)
