I'm not even going to ask why it lasts so long. I know that it's all about the money. Never in my life have I been so tired of hearing the evening sports media here in the Baltimore/DC area ramble on about 'single name' basketball STARS.I have to assume that these NBA stars have last names, but I never hear them on sports shows nor read them in the paper. These guys have each become a brand...a brand for selling themselves and merchandise. I guess I'm just toooooooooooo old to relate to this sports media crapola.
After this final game, it's over, thankfully; over until the pre-season hype begins.
