Front Yard - Grass Grows - Other Stuff Too 2

Possibly you can tell from this foto that the grass in my front yard hasn't been mowed for 14 days now. Altho extremely dry before, we've actually had substantial rain over the past week or so, spurring it to grow a bit. It is due for mowing, but as I write this, it is also raining again.

I had a visit from Dennis Schrader, running for Howard County Council, over the weekend and Dennis was kind enough to provide a yard sign after I volunteered the space. The blue and white contrasts nicely with the red and white Kyle Lorton signs.

I guess it will take me a while longer to mow now that I have an added mowing obstacle. When you get old, like I am, every opportunity to slow your walking pace is welcome.

Ponder it and get out those votes for Dennis and Kyle,
