Where were you 9/11?

I had taken leave from work to perform some maintenance on the ol' house. I was returning from Home Depot with some parts when I heard the report on the radio. I was incredulous that a plane would hit the World Trade Center in New York.

After hearing about the following events and being an employee of NSA (No Such Agency) in Ft Meade, MD, I called my office to see if everything was OK there. After talking with some very excited people and determining that there was nothing I could do there to help, I found myself transfixed to the TV.

It seems like yesterday instead of 9 years ago today. I managed to raise the flag this morning when I got up. I read a review of the events on a website and after wiping a tear or two from my eye, I took this foto.

9/11 is in the past, but it is not forgotten and will never be forgotten by me...nor will I forget the religiously-driven bastards who organized and executed this crime against the United States People.
