It's Bristol Baby. Sunday, 500 laps at Bristol Motor Speedway, NASCAR returns to real racing in the hub of NASCAR action. Personally, it's my kinda racing.
Daytona's always fun because it's the first action for the new NASCAR season. But, let's face it, Daytona (and Talladega) ain't 'real racin'. Phoenix and Vegas provided good racing, but let's be serious, who wants to watch a race on Sunday afternoon that doesn't start until almost 4 PM on the other side of the country!
No, real racing is in the southeast; the hub of NASCAR.
JD, patiently waiting for some real Bristol Racin' here in the BToS
PS - Here's a post from March '09 that provides a bit more on Bristol - real racing.
