Presidential Election -- Over for JD

The seasons are winding down for 2008. NASCAR has only 3 more races to finish its interminable 36 race-weekend season, autumn is here and showing the first flashes of what's forecast to be a normal winter and election day is upon us.

It seems this election has been going on since George Bush's 2005 inauguration. It is certainly toooooooooooooo long and drawn out. The EMSM wears folks out daily with their opinionated 'news reports' that never really say anything of substance. News today is like the Style section covering movie stars. All fluff and no substance.

So I'm gonna ignore politics and go smell the roses until 2010 when Maryland has a gubernatorial election. Martin O'Malley is our current governor and is definitely an 'in-charge' kinda guy, who reminds me of Obama. Don't get in his way or he'll swat you. Hopefully, he doesn't stumble on to this BLOG post, or he might take it out on me!

I'm off to enjoy what's left of autumn, starting at lunch today with a couple of ol' work cronies at Gunnings; maybe a fried soft crab sandwich, whatchathink!

I hope you are enjoying a bit of the season also,
JD
