Two-Family Diners

Turns out that 6 of 11 family members that enjoyed Thanksgiving here are really 2-meal holiday folks. That means you can't overeat at your first meal 'cause you have another one to work through (enjoy) later in the day. Being a 'Double-Diner' ain't an easy thing for some of us.

The extra dark meat turkey wasn't really a concern with the Double-Diners present. However when you have folks that are trying to eat smart and not overdo things, not a lot of food gets eaten during the first holiday meal of the day. I've never been part of a second meal, so I can't testify to consumption at that venue. Lotta leftovers everywhere I suspect.

I think it's kind of neat that folks can have a nice dinner with each side of their family at holiday time, hopefully fostering good will.
