Spring is upon us and it's time to crank up the ol' smoker and in my case, I do mean the OLD smoker. I need to refurbish that rascal and install the outside firebox before I can even use it again. It's gathering rust out behind the garage where I relocated it last fall when my new deck was being built.
Actually I found this old 'water smoker' that's still in the box and never been used. It was a gift a long, long time ago and was stored under the staircase away from view. Maybe I'll take it out of the box and figure out how it works then I'll have two smokers. I'm worse than a 're-gifter', I'm a 'never user' guy. Bummer!!! Who'd think the Big Town of Savage would have any 'never users' with times as tough as they are around here!
I know, I know; you've already seen this video. Well, I just can't help posting it again. I did another search for BBQ songs and this is still my fav...
While I ponder smokers, why don't you just click the old 'play' button!

Hmmm, impressive you spotted the smoker under the stairs. Does this mean you've been working on our little secret project? Ready to send me a shot of the bookcase yet?
