The Big One - Last Lap Daytona 400

As mentioned in yesterday's post, everyone was anticipating 'The Big One'. It definitely happened on the last lap at Daytona when Tony Stewart attempted to reclaim the lead from Kyle Busch.

As is typical in RP racing, the only move the leader has to use on challengers is 'the block'. Kyle Busch attempted to block Tony Stewart low and then high. On the high block attempt Busch's right rear quarter panel clipped Stewart's left front fender sending Busch's car hard into the wall. This was followed by a horrible crash in the image above with Kasey Kahne. Following that, Busch was a sitting duck on the track for a driver door smash from his teammate in the 20 car.

As usual NASCAR and TV got what they wanted at the RP track!

"The Big One" - Great NASCAR TV!!!

Tune in for the next episode of "The Big One" in the Chase at Talladega, Nov 1, 2009!
