Stomach Stretch - Eat Too Much - Fresh Start - 3
Last time I went thru the watch my weight exercise and attempted to lose some weight, I managed to use the Stomach Stretch reports as incentive. That was just about a year ago. This time I don't seem to be able to marshal the necessary attitude to make it happen. I just don't feel the drive I had last year, when I used my health situation for motivation. I still need to reduce for health reasons, but it's not as bad as it was when I was 20 lbs heavier last year.
As the chart shows, there is no progress from last week. Looking back over my intake for the week, it's obvious why I lost no weight and fortunately managed to hold at 237. Just too many calories each day. It wasn't due to candy or cookies, but I just ate too much food and had a couple of desserts I could have skipped; strawberry shortcake Thursday and Friday evenings and apple pie Saturday nite. It's really hard to resist sister-in-law's apple pie, just great crust and it is strawberry season.
I also can't really blame it on son-in-law being here 3 nites this week as I am the one that fixed the dinners each nite and had nothing really extravagant. Steak and sweet potato, chili dogs with broccoli salad and cole slaw and Jack Daniels BBQ the third evening. I didn't overdo it at any of the meals.
I did mow/blow twice last week, Tuesday and last evening after the Dover CUP Race, but no other real exercise. Nothing out of the ordinary planned for this week that would expose me to high calorie situation.
No excitement here in the BToS to report either. So until next week, be sure to do good stuff and have some fun,
