Is it that time already - Yard Signs - Kyle Lorton - Gone

When I walked out around 7 this morning to get my Baltimore Sun and my Washington Post newspapers, I happened to glance down the street toward Ma's Kettle. That's when I noticed this strange wire frame stuck in my front yard out by the street.

At first I wasn't sure what it was. But then it became clear that I was a bit premature in stating in my earlier post that "So far no one's gotten pissed enough to roll thru and swipe or vandalize my sign."

Between the time I checked last evening and this morning, someone indeed did make the sign portion of Kyle Lorton disappear from my front yard right here on Savage-Guilford Rd in the Big Town of Savage in the Diverse State of Maryland (O'Malley's term, not mine).

I'll have to keep an eye on the wire frame that remains in the yard. Possibly ol' Kyle will stop by and stick a new sign in the front yard for me. Or, I guess I could go to the trouble to find out where his signs are stored and get a new one for myself. But, of course, I already have the frame, I just need the vinyl sign portion.

Something to ponder for a Sunday morning before you head out to church,
JD

PS - Only the wire frame remains! Vandals? Or, was it Jimmy Robey supporters out on a binge last nite? You know how crazy some of those Democrats can be. Of course it matters little to me as I'm a Libertarian here in the BToS. By the way, I think there may be 2 other Libertarians here in the Diverse State of Maryland.

PPS - The Bethel folks came by yesterday and removed the event signs from their front lawn. Believe the event was held the evening of July 30th and the signs disappeared July 31. That's pretty good for sign removal. Seemingly, yard sale signs never disappear.

PPPS - In case you're not familiar with our Maryland Governor, The Sanctimonious Reverend O'Malley.
