Face up...Face down??? - TV Controller - redux

Are you a face-up kinda guy like most folks when it comes to laying your TV remote down? Do you lay that rascal down so you can see the neat buttons and have it ready for action when needed?

Or are you a face-down kinda guy (notice I say guy here, cause it is, after all, our controller)?

"Why would anyone lay that rascal down so you can't see the buttons and have to flip it before you can use it again?"

Simple. The back side is typically hard slippery plastic, while the buttons on the front side are kind of grippy for traction when you're working your finger magic with it. If you lay that rascal face up and your wife comes along and accidentally clips it...BANG, it's clanking on the floor with the battery cover off and batteries scattered, and you gotta big urge to pause the NASCAR race on the TiVo to take a piss.

If you lay it face down, those little grippy buttons grab the surface you lay it on and don't let it slide around when your wife clips it!!!

It's that simple...common sense comes out on top for some of us guys...there are other guys that I call 'girlie guys' that lay 'em down face up!!!

Friday Thot from JD here in the Big Town of Savage,

PS - I neglected to mention that I'm a 'face-down' kinda guy!
