Did We Think It Thru?

"I'm sure it'll all come together when we get near the end."  Sometimes we get so wrapped up in the early details of a project that we forget about the final product.  Or, we get so wrapped up in selling something to meet a requirement that we forget the goal of the requirement we're devoting all the effort to produce.

It's always good to take a step back and get a different perspective on the efforts of your team.  Managers that don't learn that, are seldom successful when it really counts.
