Maryland Junior Senator Benjamin "Ben" Louis Cardin (born October 5, 1943 according to Wikipedia) is up for reelection next month. Ol' Ben's been in government service as a representative for Maryland since I can remember and now he's over in the Senate. Federal employees, including Senators and Representatives get a pretty good retirement. I think it's about time for Benjamin to exercise his US Government retirement benefits and quit smiling around the state so much.
Dan Bongino appears to be an excellent replacement for ol' Benjamin. Of course the chances of Benjamin losing here in Martin O'Malley's Diverse State of Maryland are practically nil.
I'm not a true conservative, however I am a fiscal conservative with liberal social positions. Benjamin needs to give in to retirement and Bongino is the man for the job beginning after the Nov 6 election.
JD, wondering where I'll go to vote after the BToS firehouse relocates across Rt. 1 next year. Kind of nice just walking up the hill to the firehouse, visiting with folks, casting my votes and walking back down the hill again. Be a real bummer if I have to drive someplace just to vote.
PS - I just received my Benjamin CARDIN bumper stickers this morning in the mail. This one is on the back window of my Toy Truck. What do you think, orange with red X's kind of draws attention to the Bongino signs, right!!!
