Nostalgia for an ol' Country Boy
You're right, JD never ran moonshine on Highway 9. I found this video over on Monte Dutton's NASCAR This Week website. Monte's a heck of a writer, currently specializing in NASCAR coverage, who's written books on NASCAR and music. He's also becoming a pretty good songwriter, so check him out!
This video brings back a whole lot of memories of really neat automobiles and drag racing fun from my youth.

Dewey, my paternal grandfather really DID run moonshine across the mountains back in 'the day'. Proud heritage, eh!
