After some serious pondering as displayed in this foto, it appears that son-in-law has determined that the Saturn Vue seating position isn't going to suit his frame for long distance driving. He has plans to visit the dealer and check out some other vehicles that might serve his purpose yet be more amenable to his body and driving position.I would expect to have more information on his choice later in the weekend. Hopefully you won't be waiting with bated breath!!!

PS - Yesterday's dinner for son-in-law consisted of a wonderful pot of my 'not quite world famous' chili to go with some fresh ears of sweet corn, some left over balsamic cucumber, onion and olive salad and salsa and chips. Damn good, if I do say so myself!!!

Might I recommend a GMC Yukon. Mine has so much head and leg room that Wilt Chamberlain could be perfectly comfortable, not to mention so much cargo space that you could haul a sofa around in there. Good gas mileage, not so much.
